Changqing Oilfield's thousand-ton-level family welcomes a new member
On September 7, with a daily crude oil production of 1023 tons, the Huanjiang operating area of Changqing Oilfield's No. 7 Oil Production Plant added a new member to the oilfield's daily thousand-ton production family in the Huanjiang area of Huanxian County, Gansu Province. This is the fourth thousand-ton operating area built by Changqing Oilfield this year. As of now, Changqing Oilfield has 26 thousand-ton operating areas.

China National Petroleum Corporation News (Reporters Yang Wenli and Li Peng) On September 7th, marking a daily crude oil production of 1023 tons, the Huanjiang operation area of Changqing Oilfield's seventh oil production plant in Huanxian County, Gansu Province, added another member to the oilfield's daily thousand-ton production family. This is the fourth thousand-ton operation area built by Changqing Oilfield this year. As of now, Changqing Oilfield has 26 thousand-ton operation areas.
After systematically understanding the ultra-low permeability oil reservoirs in this area, Changqing Oilfield's seventh oil production plant locked its crude oil production target on the Huanjiang area in 2008. For several years, the daily crude oil production of the Huanjiang operation area once reached more than 900 tons, but due to the special geological environment, every well could not escape the predicament of "production decline starting from the day of commissioning."
In response to the difficulties encountered in crude oil production, the Huanjiang operation area, combining the problems of rapid water cut rise, wellbore scaling, severe wax deposition, and high difficulty in stable production, systematically analyzed the reasons for the rapid decline in oilfield production. On the one hand, by "injecting sufficient water and enough water," the under-injection problem was thoroughly solved, improving the formation energy and ensuring that the formation pressure increased by 4 percentage points, reducing the production decline rate from 18.7% to 11.5%; on the other hand, increasing the intensity of measures for old wells, implementing fracturing and acidification, etc., measures were implemented on 51 wells, increasing daily crude oil production by 53 tons, and a cumulative increase of 4868 tons this year. In particular, after horizontal well sand control treatment was implemented on the Hu Ping 5-16 well, the daily output increased from 1 ton to 6.5 tons.
Based on the implementation of stable and increased production measures for old wells, the Huanjiang operation area increased the intensity of geological research on the already exploited oil reservoirs, comparing and analyzing data from already exploited wells, discovering a new stratum and achieving high yield. The Huanjiang operation area adheres to the "three-pronged approach" of quality production, technological production, and safe production, accurately deploying wells, and has already put 52 wells into production in the newly discovered stratum, with a daily increase of 249.3 tons of oil from newly commissioned wells.
